Dr. Platz attended Wayne State University before attending Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield, MO where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the top of her class. Dr. Platz first became interested in chiropractic care while seeking treatment for her chronic migraine headaches. After experiencing such great results, she developed a passion for helping others find pain relief naturally. She utilizes variety of techniques, including Diversified, The Activator Method, Cox Flexion Distraction, and Active Release Technique to provide patients with the most innovative chiropractic care. Dr. Platz also utilizes therapeutic exercises, nutritional supplements and gives tips and tricks for proper ergonomics to keep you feeling well long after your treatment.
As a former competitive dancer, she has an appreciation for the structure of the human body and how it affects neuromuscular function. She also has a special interest in pediatrics and prenatal care. Dr. Platz has completed post-graduate coursework with a focus on pregnancy and is certified in the Webster Technique. She enjoys educating patients about the benefits of chiropractic care and collaborating with other health professionals to provide her patients with the best care possible.
Dr. Platz is an active member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the American Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She continues to attend seminars to stay up to date on current literature and chiropractic techniques. Dr. Platz is proud and excited to be serving the communities of Beverly Hills, Birmingham, Bingham Farms, Troy, Royal Oak, Berkley, Clawson, Madison Heights, Southfield, Huntington Woods, Ferndale and Pleasant Ridge.
